Great trip!!!

Hello scrappers,

We just got back from Niagara Falls, Marineland and African Lion Safari. What a great time we had!!!! I never thought that there was that much to visit in Niagara Falls. We were there for 2 1/2 days and didn't see everything there was to see...lots for kids.

I also have been scrapbooking lots lately. I think I really missed it from taking a break for the summer. Here are a few layouts that I have done in the past few weeks and a nice desk topper for a table or office desk. I will be giving a class on the desk topper in October.

Keeping Busy!!!

Can you already feel the cool air??? I can't believe summer is almost over. It seems as if we just started to get nice weather...AH wait...we did. We really only got 4 weeks of summer. I hope this means our winter is going to be very short.

Well Ethan got his first 5 stitches last week. He fell and hit his forehead on the corner of a wall at daycare. He did so well when we brought him to the hospital. It probably helped that he knew the nurse and doctor that was working. That sure made it easier. I think Maman was more upset than him. I hate seeing my baby hurt.

We are starting to have visiters on our property. I guess Deer love apples. We had two eating our apples yesterday morning. They stayed long enough for me to take a few pictures. They are very beautiful animals.

We have had a very busy summer. It seems as if we haven't been home much. We had soooooo much fun with Ethan...lots of fun in the water. And it's not over, we are leaving for Toronto this Thursday. We are going to Niagara Falls, Marineland and African Safari. Ethan is soooooo excited about going on an airplane again. I think it's going to be lots of fun!!!!

I gave a basic photography class this past Friday evening in St Andrews. We had so much fun taking pictures. I especially loved taking pics of the sunset.

I am back...

OK so I have been neglecting my personnal blog...it's hard to seperate both blogs because I don't want it to always be about scrapbooking. I guess it still comes down to my scrapbooking though because I am still going to scrapbook a lot of the pictures I take on vacation or any other occasion that I would bother to talk about right???? So I am going to make an effort to try to post on both blogs without repeating myself too much!!!!

I must say this past week has been one of our best vacations yet. We had sooooooooo much fun in Shediac...beach, Splash pad at Centenial Park, Moncton Zoo, a little shopping and more beach. We had really nice weather...had a hard time to sleep because it was sooooooooo warm. We even celebrated my dad's 60th birthday and retirement all in one. It was nice to see a lot of family members get together for a barbecue.

We were back home last Friday and had more fun with our son. We set up his new pool we bought him and he spent lots of time in it in just 2 days. He also had lots of fun with his 2 cousins that came to visit all day Sunday. They had sooooooooo much fun in his new pool.

It was so beautiful Monday after thinking it was going to rain all day that we decided to go spend most of the day in St Andrews. We went to the Aquarium first. Our son just loves it there...went 3 times already this summer. And we had my favorite pizza at the Old Time Pizza restaurant. Then of course we can't go to St Andrews without going for ice cream. It was a really nice day.

I am now ready to go back to work now...a little more rested.

Having Fun!!!

Well it's been a while!!! Between the new store opening and carpal tunnel surgery, I've been pretty busy...you think...LOL I am so happy that I am realizing a dream, my own scrapbook store. I don't really know how to explain it, but when people walk through that door, a great big smile on my face appears. I soooooooooo enjoy it!!! The pricing, opening boxes, seeing people's reaction when they see certain products, etc. I love it all. Thanks to everyone who made this dream of mine come true!!!! I love you girls, and especially my wonderful, understanding and patient HUSBAND!!!

So I had carpal tunnel surgery last Thursday and well, it's going pretty good. The last few days have been a lot better. I am starting to use my hand again...a little at a time. Tonight it's a little sore, i think I did too much today.

I am pretty ready for Christmas. My mom came down last weekend to help me because I couldn't do much for at least 3 days after my surgery. She wrapped almost all my Christmas gifts and put up our Christmas decorations. That was a great help.

Ethan is going for his first visit to the dentist tomorrow morning. I can't wait to see how he's going to react to that. I think he'll be pretty excited about it. I'll let you know.

So I haven't scrapbooked since October. With the new store and my surgery, it slowed me down from scrapbooking. Well next Tuesday, I have the day reserved for just that, scrapbook. Hopefully I will have a few layouts to show you!!!!

Getting Ready for Toronto!!!

Well i know it's been a while!!!! So sorry!!! As you know i have been getting ready for my Grand Opening of my new store. WoW!!! i still can't believe i am opening a scrapbook store. It's a dream come true.

This Wednesday we are leaving for Toronto. My husband has a Family Medicine Conference, so I decided to bring my mother and Ethan. We are very excited that Ethan will be going on an Airplane for the 1st time. I don't know if he truly understands that he is going in a big plane when we tell him he will be flying in a plane in a few days. I will certainly have the camera ready because that will be a scrapbook moment for sure. We are going to go to the Toronto Zoo on Saturday. I hope it's not too cold. I'm sure we will have lots of fun!!!! I sure need a little getaway at the moment.

We had lots of fun a few Weekends ago when we brought Ethan bowling for the 1st time. As you can see, he enjoyed himself.

Here is a layout I did for a class, Precious Little Girl, last Friday night. Unfortunatly, because of the store, i have not been scrapbooking as much as i would like too.

Construction!!!!

I am soooooooo sorry I am late Posting!!!! I have been unpacking boxes, watching all the construction for the new store and pricing items... lots and lots of awesome goodies!!!!! I am so excited and can't wait till the GRAND OPENING!!!! Nothing is official yet, but I am thinking 1st week of DECEMBER. How does that sound for you????? Construction is going to be done tomorrow. They are painting my walls as we speak!!!! I will still have classes until I open the store. My first crop will be next Friday...i already have 6 girls signed up and I still have room for 6 more!!! I am in the process of sending a NEWSLETTER for my upcoming classes and tell you a little about the products that I will carry in my store.

My best friend, Paulette, from Shediac made my LOGO for my new store. What do you think??? Isn't it AWESOME!!!! She is some talented young lady!!! Thank you Paulette!!!! You are some SPECIAL!!!! XOX

SCRAPBOOKING GONE WILD!!!

I am a guest designer for PAWS ON SCRAPBOOKING for the month of September. I am truly enjoying creating projects with the great kit I received. I just love my mini album of Family Times.

I also have been very busy with classes this past few weeks. I gave a class last Saturday on Summer Fun!!!! We started and finished an entire 8x8 album!!!! It was lots of fun!!! I hope you girls had as much fun as I did!!!!

I also started a BOOK OF ME class that is going to last a whole year until the album is finished. Once a month, we will have a class to work on our album. It will be a different theme everytime, but will be something about ME. I am very excited about this new class. We had our 1st one last Thursday. The title of our layout was "ME @ 35" and we also added journaling on the 2nd page. It was lots of fun!!!!

I have new problem which is actually a great one to have...waiting lists for my classes. All my classes from here to Christmas are full and some. I can't take more girls for my class because I simply don't have the room. Because of this new problem and since I am not working at the office anymore, I have decided to open my own store..."SCRAPBOOKING GONE WILD". YES... you heard right, I am opening a scrapbooking store downstairs. I am sooooooooooooo excited and a bit nervous at the same time. I already have my business number. WOW!!!! Is this really happening???? Who would of thought that I would have enough guts to go through this huge project. My wonderful husband is behind me all the way and has been more than supportive through all of this. We are planning to have construction done in January, so I think my GRAND OPENING would be aroung the beginning of MARCH. I can't really open officially until construction is done because I simply don't have the room now. Once it is all done, I should be able to hold at least 10 to 12 spots for classes. Isn't that AWESOME!!!! I will keep you posted on the progress of the store opening!!!! Hope to see you at the GRAND OPENING!!! LOL

On another note, I was soooo happy last week when my son finally was able to ride his tricycle. He has been outside everyday ever since then riding his bike...he just loves it!!!
